Our chilers are stuffed to the gills again with Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Crushing from 4pm on today weather permitting. We will also be crushing between the rains all weekend long. You may want to check the radar before you head out :)

April 28th, 2009 - South American Grapes are in!

We've worked the first of several shipments through our crushpad. Wonderful Argentinean Malbec and some Cabernet Sauvignon as well. The grapees look great again this year! Our second shipment is due in tomorrow, Friday, May 1st and we'll be operating our crushpad all Friday afternoon and through the weekend. Call to schedule your pickup. There will be a third shipment due in sometime next week as well. Everyone is asking for extra grape. We'll see what we can due about skimming more allocation from our suppliers.

Update: March 18th, 2009 - Spring Crush

Everyone has been asking when to expect the grapes this season. Reports from our suppliers in Mendoza are predicting an early harvest. We've been telling everyone to expect the grapes at the end of April +/- a week. It looks like we're now shooting for the 2nd or 3rd weekend in April.

We are now sold out of both Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Bonarda supplies are very close to sold out. Allocation extensions are possible if you are still interested. Please let us know as soon as possible.

Just added Argentinean Bonarda for Spring 2009

Wines made from the Bonarda grape can be lighter-bodied and fruity, full of cherry and plum flavours, with light tannins and moderate acidity. However with concentrated fruit from older vines, and especially when oak aged, Bonardas can also be big, fruity, dense and tannic wines with deep colour and fig and raisin characteristics.
